Headless E-commerce
Darana
Headless storefront for a Swiss skincare brand built on prickly pear seed oil — a custom front end over Shopify checkout and a Strapi blog, in all four of its market's languages.
Visit the siteThe challenge
A premium skincare brand can't afford to look like a Shopify theme, but it also can't afford to rebuild payments, inventory, and tax. And selling into Switzerland means four languages — English, French, German, and Italian — across the storefront and the editorial content, without the experience fraying where translation usually breaks down.
What we built
We went headless. The front end is entirely ours — motion, product storytelling, and the brand's own typography — while Shopify's Storefront API handles catalogue, inventory, and checkout behind it, revalidating on a short interval so stock stays honest. Editorial lives in Strapi with per-language content, so the team publishes without touching the store. Every route carries its language, and newsletter capture and analytics were wired in from launch.
The outcome
A storefront that reads like the brand rather than like a template, serving four language markets from one codebase, with Shopify doing the parts nobody should rebuild.
