The challenge
Tunisian market data exists, but it's scattered across the exchange, the central bank, the statistics institute, and a dozen news sites — each with its own format and none built for analysis. Retail investors and finance professionals were rebuilding the same picture by hand, every day, from sources that don't agree with each other.
What we built
We built the product and the data infrastructure behind it. A scheduled Python pipeline pulls BVMT prices, indices, and filings alongside central bank and statistics feeds, normalises them into Postgres, and aggregates market news from the main Tunisian outlets. On top sits the platform itself: company and index pages with TradingView charts, a screener, portfolios, watchlists, and configurable alerts — bilingual French and English throughout. An AI layer scores news sentiment, flags unusual price and volume behaviour, and writes plain-language explanations of what happened.
The outcome
A single place to follow the Tunisian market, where the data arrives already reconciled and the day's unusual moves are surfaced rather than hunted for. Live at markets.tn, in French and English.
